Myrtle Beach!!
I used to go to the beach ever summer and my family and I always had a good time but the last summer that we went to the beach was the most interesting. We actually went during senior beach week when all the newly high school graduates go to the beach and basically just party. It wasn't much different then any other trip but one night we decided we could go walk up the strip to see what all was going on that night. My whole family decided that it would be fun so me, my cousin Laura, my dad, step mom, little sister and brother plus my grandparents were all going to go. We knew it would be crowded I mean everyone one seemed to be at the beach but we still wanted to see what was happening. My cousin Laura and I decided that we wanted to do our own thing and not just hangout with our family the whole vacation so when we got down to the street from the hotel we said we would just meet them all back at the hotel later on that night. The streets were packed the cars were bumper to bumper. There was tons of music playing coming from the cars that were in the street and from some of the stores that were around. People were yelling and screaming you could tell that everyone was just getting started for the night. We had to squeeze in between the cars to get across the street. When we finally got to the other side I could see all the neon lights from all the stores and signs that were up and down the street. As we were walking up the street we saw a lot of stores that had alot of clothes and then there were some that we gift shops so you could get some kind of memorabilia. One store that we went into had a henna tattoo area set up and there was a little girl that was getting some stars tattooed half way up her arm. So once we saw hers completely done we both decided that we were going to get something done. I ended up just getting a flower on my foot and she decided to get some kind of tiger something. We both thought that it would look way better if we could get it done is some awesome bright colors so that people might actually notice that we paid money to get them done. After we got that done we ended up walking around some more and found this little place were we could get some really good late night munchies. The place its self was cool because it was like a little shack inside and it was painted in some really bright colors all over. It had some random art all over the walls too but they made some really good food. After we finished eating we decided we would head back down towards our hotel because it was getting kinda of late. On our way back a random guy stopped us and asked us if we would like to see a magic trick. We said yes to see if he would be able to do anything because we had our doubts. He took a quarter out of his pocket and asked my cousin to think of something for the quarter to turn into. So she did and she told him that she had the idea. He told her that she should just keeping of what she wanted it turned into so she did and then he asked her to count to 3 and blow on his hand. So she counted and blew on his hand and when he opened his hand up a silver chain was in his hand. I just thought that was the cop out thing that he used to show people that he could do magic but my cousin was freaking out about it. I asked her what the big deal was and she had actually been thinking about that when he asked her to think of something. I was kinda freaking out a little when she told me that because I just thought that kind of stuff was staged on TV. If this was staged then I don't know how he pulled that off but it was amazing and he let my cousin keep the chain. After that we were freaking out trying to figure out how someone could do something like that. We were like this all the way till we got back to our hotel. My family asked what was going on and when we told them what had happened they were just as shocked as we were. So not only did we have to deal with all the graduates that year but we were actually kinda convinced that some people could do some really tricky stuff.
